The Mad Man Returns
Just for the record I did attempt to make the title some form of alliteration but I came up short. I feel as if I should write about the return of Mad Men, a new season of a rather good show which is both critically praised and holds high ratings. I have written about this previously and I do enjoy it.
It’s just, it has been so long since I’ve seen it I can’t quite bring myself to get back into watching again. Mad Men feels like a completely different world; it basically is. Nineteen sixties America is a place I don’t fit in. I’m too accustomed to the Internet and to England. I do however quite enjoy both the excessive drinking and general Americana of their advertising back then. It’s just I can’t quite watch the new episode quite yet. I’m slightly tempted to re-watch the last season.
I guess maybe I should just have another glass of Bourbon and just get it over with. I am fairly confident once I’ve seen the first episode I’ll find it hard to wait between each week.
